The project is co-funded by the Sport Chapter of the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union. The main objective of “InnoSkills Through Sport” is to promote education in and through sport with a special focus on transversal entrepreneurial skills development among youth, by elaborating a Handbook with a new methodology. The innovative aspect of the project is related to matching the skills of the future with the 15 competences outlined by the European Commission in the so called “EntreComp” Framework – the building blocks of the entrepreneurship as a competence for all citizens. The project creates people-to-people connectivity between young people from 2 EU Member States (Bulgaria & Latvia) and a country from Western Balkans with a strong European perspective (the Republic of North Macedonia). It focuses on sport as a powerful tool for promotion of European values, integration and social inclusion of young people, especially of those at risk of falling into the “NEETs” (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) group. The project team is composed of teachers, coaches and youth workers from the following organizations: Association “Sport Club Comac Sport”, Bulgaria, Association for Macedonian-Bulgarian Friendship, Republic of North Macedonia, and Salas vidusskola, Latvia.
